Yes, EDR2RXD1 is the same as Whirlpool Filter 2 and is also known by part numbers W10413645A and 9082. All refer to the same filter design and function, depending on branding or packaging.
Locate the filter in the upper right-hand corner inside your fridge. Push the release button or twist the filter to remove the old one, insert the new filter until it clicks or locks into place, and flush 4 gallons of water to clear out any carbon residue.
For best performance, replace your EDR2RXD1 water filter every 6 months or after 200 gallons of use, whichever comes first. Regular replacement ensures clean, great-tasting water and ice.
